Position Summary: 

Incumbent establishes objectives and work plans, and delegates assignments. Responsible for managing, preparing, administering, and directing resources. Reviews and approves recommendations for functional programs. Involved in developing, modifying and executing policies that affect immediate operation(s) and may also have enterprise wide effect. Leads and oversees major concurrent complex projects from initiation through implementation. Acquires resources and coordinates the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.


Salary Range: 


Rate    Minimum  $93,200.00    Maximum  $235,400.00


Required Qualifications:

4 plus years of experience managing an information technology organization

7-10 years’ experience working in project management in an Information Systems environment.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and to analyze and interpret data in order to draw valid conclusions for complex business issues

Ability to effectively plan for and optimally manage resources

Ability to manage and engage other professionals

Ability to plan strategically, develop objectives and implement tactical plans to achieve desired outcomes

Ability to simultaneously manage multiple large projects

Able to translate complex information to a novice level and able to understand the needs of the university and translate that into solutions

Advanced level knowledge of healthcare financial systems applications to be able to successfully plan and coordinate activities in this area of systems analysis and serve as a key resource to staff and others across the organization

Bachelors degree in related area and/or equivalent experience and training

Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English


Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of medical and academic industry structures

Master's Degree
