Position Summary: 

The incumbent provides high-level administrative, organizational and analytical support for the Procurement and Contracting Department. Incumbent is responsible to independently organize and manage specific processes and information, coordinate the exchange of confidential and complex information between internal or external constituents and to research and provide information in a timely manner necessary for the Department to make critical operational decisions. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating and performing all duties relating to procurement transactional operations, as well as assisting with data collection, data entry and report generation. The incumbent provides a wide range of administrative and analytical functions (data collection, problem analysis and resolution, systems analysis, etc.) in support of the Procurement and Contracting Department.

 

Salary Range: 

 

Rate    Minimum  $20.69   Midpoint  $27.32   Maximum  $33.96

 

Required Qualifications:

1 to 3 years’ experience in a role that required data mining and/or statistical modeling

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Ability to successfully manage multiple and competing priorities and deadlines

Ability to summarize and present results in clear formats

Able to successfully interact with others to exchange data and information

Demonstrated work experience in progressively more complex roles related to data analysis

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Proficient in Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word

Resourcefulness to solve problems independently

Strong skills in data management and analysis

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Administrative experience in a healthcare environment

Bachelor's Degree in related field

Experience in an academic environment

Knowledge of University and Medical Center organizations, policies, procedures and forms

Previous demonstrated supply chain experience
