Position Summary: 

The Radiologic Technologist performs the range of basic diagnostic radiologic procedures at the medical center and will perform x-rays in conjunction with surgical and other special procedures. In addition to working at the medical center, this position requires performing portable procedures at off-site skilled nursing facilities. The off-site locations will require the technologist to drive to the various sites with a UCIMC vehicle, unload the portable machine and perform requested studies.  The technologist will also be responsible for the transmission of images to the PACS. This position will rotate between the Medical Center and the skilled nursing facilities. Hours will vary based on procedure volumes and staffing requirements and will include working various shifts and taking call as needed.


Salary Range: 


Rate    Minimum  $37.25   Midpoint  $41.78   Maximum  $46.32


Required Qualifications:

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

American Registry of Rad Techs

Basic Life Support

Cert Radiologic Technologist

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Rad Tech Fluoroscopy Permit
