Position Summary: 

Reporting to the Manager of Distribution Services, the Loading Dock Manager is responsible for managing the operation of the UCI Health Systems loading dock. Incumbent is responsible for scheduling, coordination and communication of both internal and external activity for all dock related operations. Ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency for all users, this role facilitates the seamless flow of goods, materials, and supplies through the medical center. Incumbent is responsible for researching and resolving customer problems and ensuring the highest standard of customer service. Duties include: warehousing, receiving, the layout and building of supply carts and cabinets, fleet, PDT inventories, order filling deliveries and pick-ups, inventory control of critical stores and receiving materials.


Salary Range: 


Rate    Minimum  $47,400.00    Maximum  $78,100.00


Required Qualifications:

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystem

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Current State of California Driver's License

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Minimum five years previous job-related/equivalent experience

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Skill to effectively supervise staff


Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
