Position Summary: 

The Gift Shop Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service to our visitors and patrons.  The incumbent will ensure accurate sales transactions; restock merchandise; maintain a clean and welcoming physical environment; and assist the Manager in training new staff.  Oversees the opening and closing of the shop on the weekends.


Salary Range: 


Rate    Minimum  $19.54   Midpoint  $19.54   Maximum  $19.54


Required Qualifications:

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystem

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Demonstrated retail experience with the ability to effectively provide information about products and services

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Previous cashiering or cash handling experience


Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of UC policies and procedures
