Position Summary: 

The Burn Program Manager is a nurse leader responsible for organizing the services and systems necessary for the multidisciplinary approach to burn care and the strategic support to advance the mission of the Burn Program. Incumbent is also responsible for the daily operations of the Burn Program including engagement in burn outreach and education, coordination of burn survivor programs and services, and community burn awareness and prevention activities.  Will manage the burn database, coordinate of the burn performance improvement program and all activities related to ABA / ACS burn center verification.


Salary Range: 


Rate    Minimum  $88,300.00    Maximum  $159,000.00


Required Qualifications:

Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Basic Life Support

Computer skills, especially Microsoft Office, Word, Excel

Demonstrated teaching and research experience in an acute care setting

Minimum of 1 year project management experience

Pediatric Advanced Life Supp

Registered Nurse

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast paced environment

Strong written, oral communication, as well as effective problem solving and negotiation skills


Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with all phases of Performance Improvement

Knowledge of burn registry injury and reporting requirements

Knowledge of the requirements for maintaining Burn Center verifications

Masters of Science in Nursing

Minimum of 5 years of recent experience caring for trauma or burn patients in either the Intensive Care Unit, Burn Unit or Emergency Department.
