Position Summary: 

Incumbent serves as the central point of contact for UC Irvine Health's capital improvement program covering projects in excess of one million dollars. Oversees the procurement process for design, construction, and related services to support the program. This is achieved through the management of contracts and the contract administration staff. Ensures that procurement activity complies with State and Federal laws and associated regulations, and is in accordance with University of California Office of the President policies and procedures.


Salary Range: 


Rate    Minimum  $73,000.00    Maximum  $131,500.00


Required Qualifications:

Ability to analyze and rank proposals and quotations and provide feedback on quality, compliance with requirements, and cost.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystem

Ability to independently exercise initiative and follow up to resolve problems.

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Expertise to analyze business documents and agreements with the ability to draft and negotiate complex solicitation documents.

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Proficient in the use of MS Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly learn proprietary software.
