Position Summary: 

The Senior Medical Record Assistant files and maintains medical documents and correspondence as received in the appropriate patient medical record. The incumbent also maintains workflow and productivity by assigning and reviewing work, answering questions, and resolving problems in the unit.  The essential functions listed below are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties that may be assigned to this position, nor does it restrict the duties which may be assigned to this position if such duties reasonably relate to the position.


Salary Range: 


Rate    Minimum  $18.15   Midpoint  $20.36   Maximum  $22.57


Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated knowledge of alpha/numeric filing systems

Minimum two (2) years experience working with medical records files


Preferred Qualifications:

Computer literacy and proficiency

Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
