Position Summary: 

Incumbent provides strategic advisement and consultation to assigned clients, leveraging and integrating knowledge of modern professional HR practice, the regulatory environment, and labor and employment law. The incumbent is the first point of contact for the client, working to identify and broker HR solutions with clients while appropriately utilizing the resources of subject matter experts within the department.


Required Qualifications:

7-10 years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources

Ability to clearly articulate complex information and ideas in writing and verbally

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystem

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Bachelors Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience in related field such as business, psychology, LR, communications

Computer literacy, to include experience with HRIS enterprise systems

Demonstrated ability to establish credibility, trust and influence with senior leaders

Demonstrated experience in group presentation and facilitation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Experience in at least one HR specialty function such as Labor Relations, Employee Relations, Learning, Recruitment, etc.

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a complex healthcare or service organization

Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms

Previous experience working with labor unions.
