Position Summary: 

The Training Analyst in Admissions is responsible for contributing to the instructional design, development, facilitation and monitoring of a comprehensive training program for new and existing staff specific for UC Irvine Medical Center admissions and registration system users on site and in all  off-site practices.  Incumbent is independently responsible to assess employee competency for advancing to the hiring pool for placement. In addition, the Training Analyst is responsible for problem resolution, data collection, metrics regarding training effectiveness, and defining system protocols and procedures.  Incumbent is responsible for teaching systems users on updates and new systems as appropriate, ensuring system accuracy, consistency and integrity by appropriately training users.


Salary Range: 


Rate    Minimum  $22.70   Midpoint  $30.05   Maximum  $37.40


Required Qualifications:

Ability to assess training needs, develop training and organizational development interventions and assess outcome of those interventions.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystem

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Demonstrated knowledge of medical insurance plans and managed care in an ambulatory care setting

Demonstrated knowledge of third party billing functions

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Must possess high level skills with Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Strong demonstrated knowledge of hospital related computer systems and procedures, and systes input/output impact on users

Three years of experience in training and development and presentation of training programs


Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
