Position Summary: 

Reporting to the Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) Operations Manager, this position is responsible for operating the Commuter Alternatives and Rideshare Programs to ensure organizational compliance with the SCAQMD Rule 2202 regulations. Coordinates the planning, analysis, development, marketing and implementation of services and support functions associated with these programs with the goal of increasing carpooling, reducing vehicle trips and impacting smog levels to promote a healthier environment. Represents organization at transportation meetings held by various local and state agencies.


Salary Range: 


Rate    Minimum  $22.70   Midpoint  $30.05   Maximum  $37.40


Required Qualifications:

Ability to appropriately deal with stressful situations and individuals while remaining calm and professional

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystem

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Analytical skills appropriate for the role

Driver's License

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Knowledge of SCAQMD Rule 2202 requirements and regulations

Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

SCAQMD Certification

Working knowledge of rideshare and related transportation programs


Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel and Access
