Position Summary: 

Functions as specialist, knowledgeable in Perioperative inventory, providing purchasing and inventory management support to the main Operating Room (OR) and the Outpatient Surgical Suite (OSS).  Duties include maintaining PAR levels, ensuring the availability of supplies when needed, data entry of purchase requisitions, and follow-up on open requisitions and orders.  Major emphasis is given to providing excellent customer service and meeting the requirements of the clinical staff in the OR and OSS.


Salary Range: 


Rate    Minimum  $16.80   Midpoint  $19.26   Maximum  $21.73


Required Qualifications:

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Driver's License

Must be able to effectively communicate, read, write and follow verbal and written instructions in English

Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations

Must be able to perform heavy manual tasks

Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and a rotating schedule to meet operational needs

Must have 1 year of previous job-related experience managing a multiple product inventory (SKU) and stock procurement system


Preferred Qualifications:

Inventory management experience in a hospital, clinic or similar environment

Knowledge of UCI policies and procedures

Knowledge of hospital MMIS system
