Position Summary: 

Incumbent administers multiple base pay and incentive compensation programs; conducts position analysis for all levels in the organization and determines classification titles, salary grades, and wage recommendations; participates in compensation surveys and identifies sources to evaluate and analyze data to determine market competitiveness.  Is a resource to the organization and HR Consultants on compensation programs, policies and procedures.


Salary Range: 


Rate    Minimum  $69,600.00    Maximum  $124,600.00


Required Qualifications:

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Ability to function as a project leader and project member

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Advanced knowledge of compensation statutory requirements, federal and state wage and hour laws

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office to include Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent education and experience

CCP preferred or combination of compensation course work and directly related experience

Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving and customer service skills

Excellent planning, organization and time management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Experience or training in the use of statistical techniques

Minimum of 3 to 5 years progressively responsible experience in a compensation role to successfully apply a broad understanding of compensation principles/concepts to all the duties of the position

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as a part of a team, and ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies
