Position Summary: 

The incumbent collects, coordinates, or develops data to assist Decision Support Analysts and/or management in the analysis of budgetary and financial requests. Provides decision support services, including budgetary development and monitoring, to a small portfolio of clients.


Salary Range: 


Rate    Minimum  $22.70   Midpoint  $30.05   Maximum  $37.40


Required Qualifications:

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with staff and senior management

Demonstrated competence in the use of MSWord, MSExcel and database applications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Proficient computer skills to be able to generate complex spreadsheets, reports, presentations, summaries and briefs

Solid understanding of decision support systems, cost accounting principles, and accounting systems

Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply sound judgment in ambiguous situations

Two years of progressively responsible work experience performing analytical work in a financial or accounting environment


Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
