Position Summary: 

Incumbent is primarily responsible for scheduling patient clinic appointments for transplant and coordinating all the necessary information, documentation, and record keeping required for this process.  Will also facilitate communication between Transplant Coordinators and patients, primarily for Spanish speaking patients.  Provides reception coverage for the department.


Salary Range: 


Rate    Minimum  $18.97   Midpoint  $22.92   Maximum  $26.86



Required Qualifications:

Ability to appropriately deal with stressful situations and individuals while remaining calm and professional

Ability to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English

Bilingual Spanish skills to communicate effectively with patients and families

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks

Knowledge of medical terminology

Minimum two years prior administrative office experience

Working knowledge of MS Office products including Word and Excel


Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of healthcare insurance procedures
