Position Summary: 

In collaboration with UC Irvine Health leadership, staff and other key stakeholders (both internal and external), incumbent plays a key role in the support of project management for the strategic plan, development and maintenance of progress reporting dashboards and presentations for various stakeholders including management and ongoing support for the strategic plan website. Incumbent also assists in conducting market and financial research and analysis in support of strategic projects and initiatives. Collaborates to ensure deliverables are completed on time and to assist in managing multiple projects.


Salary Range: 


Rate    Minimum  $57,400.00    Maximum  $97,300.00


Required Qualifications:

Ability to communicate clearly to both clinical and non-clinical audiences including management

Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Ability to work individually or as part of a project team to ensure deliverables and plan milestones are completed according to timelines and budget

Advanced level experience using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

BA or BS with 3 or more years’ experience or MHA/MBA/MPH with 1-2 years’ healthcare experience

Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Must possess the skill, knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Strong ability to organize and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with success at managing a variety of complex projects while assuring deadlines are met

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Strong project management skills


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience developing and/or maintaining progress reporting scorecards or dashboards

Experience working in the healthcare industry in a strategic planning, project management, business development, marketing or finance department role

Experience working with healthcare planning tools and data (OSHPD, Truven, Sg2, Advisory Board, etc.)

Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or Public Health
