Position Summary: 

The incumbent is responsible for market data analytics which support and drive strategic planning and decision making for UC Irvine Health.  Incumbent synthesizes market, financial, and utilization data, ensures data integrity, summarizes data into advanced and meaningful reports / presentations, and provides consultation to senior leadership for decision making. 


Salary Range: 


Rate    Minimum  $57,400.00    Maximum  $97,300.00


Required Qualifications:

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystem

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Advanced level experience using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team

Demonstrated experience working with designing and querying large databases

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Minimum 4 years’ experience conducting analysis in a healthcare organization

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Strong ability to organize and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with success at managing a variety of complex projects while assuring deadlines are met.


Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Health Administration

Experience working in a planning or finance department role in a healthcare organization

Experience working with OSHPD data

Experience working with senior / executive management stakeholders

Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms

Mapping / GIS software experience
